This development was designed by a member of the Click Above team, architect Jonathan Pitt. This practically fully glazed rooftop penthouse was influenced by the houses of Richard Neutra, Mies’ Farnsworth House, and Philip Johnson’s Glass House in New Canaan, Connecticut. Located in Central London, this new build rooftop extension on the 8th floor has views to the north, east and west extending as far as Hampstead and Canary Wharf.

Situated above the Holiday Inn Bloomsbury/Kings Cross hotel, the apartment extends to 2,500 square feet in total and is accessed via a dedicated express lift from the car park below. The accommodation is luxurious in scale and materials, featuring expansive interior space and a pure sense of symmetry. The design concept was to create a simple but relaxed horizontal space arranged around the fireplace referencing the focus of Philip Johnson’s Glass House.

The interior design and furnishing was also completed by Click’s design team to ensure that every element complimented the design. Many of the items were bespoke creations designed by Click’s team including the glazing system, joinery, staircase, and wash basins.

The project was showcased in a television feature and appeared in many publications.
